Post Traumatic Stress  . . . the invisible wounds of war. For many veterans the battle of PTS begins when returning home from the battlefield. Unlike physical wounds, these wounds don’t bleed. They remain invisible and unseen to other service members, to family members, and to their community. All these conditions affect mood, thoughts, and behavior; yet these psychological wounds often go unrecognized and unacknowledged.
